FALL GRANT RECIPIENT HIGHLIGHTS
Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre received a grant of $50,000 that will be put toward the purchase of a replacement transport vehicle, ensuring safe and reliable access to the SLCC from remote First Nations communities. This essential upgrade will enable the transportation of SLCC Indigenous Ambassadors and Indigenous Youth Ambassador cohorts to and from work, cultural events, and other key activities.
$45,891 was granted to the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program Society for their Sea to Sky Adaptive Bike Program. Funds will support the purchase of two adaptive bikes and essential safety equipment for coaches.
$40,000 was granted to Squamish Helping Hands Society to support two essential food‑security programs: the Squamish Food Bank and local Meals on Wheels – Seniors Support. The funds will help procure the food and resources needed to ensure these vital services can continue.
$45,000 was granted to Myrtle Philip Community School to support their Inclusive Playground Swings Project - a community initiative designed to promote inclusion, foster healthy child development, and provide families with accessible public spaces.
Sea to Sky Hospice received a $39,780 grant to support vital programming for individuals navigating end‑of‑life or terminal condition diagnoses. These Sea to Sky Hospice programs offer compassionate guidance for people in the Sea to Sky Corridor who are facing life‑limiting illnesses, helping them move through their journey with dignity, resilience, and an enhanced quality of life.
A grant of $25,000 was awarded to Squamish Off-Road Cycling Association to augment funding for infrastructure upgrades to a unique Squamish trail - Meadow of the Grizzly (Spélhx̱en tl'a Stl'lhalem). Starting at over 900m in elevation, it is the only blue-rated descent trail from the top of Garibaldi Park Road.

The Whistler Blackcomb Foundation accepts funding applications twice per year. The funding deadlines are April 1 and October 1 annually.
