The Whistler Blackcomb Foundation Environmental Fund is dedicated to providing financial support to Qualified Donees whose actions can show a benefit to the natural environment in the Sea to Sky Corridor.  Our mandate is to expand fundraising efforts to support larger environmental projects with long term results within the Sea to Sky Corridor, as well as to build strong partnerships with community stakeholders.

Funds are donated by Whistler Blackcomb Employees and are matched 100% by the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation.   The Board of Directors is separate from the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation and is comprised of employees of Whistler Blackcomb.  They along with the Executive Director of the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation and the Chairperson for the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation Envirofund make the decisions on where the funds will be allocated.  Since 2001, Whistler Blackcomb employees and the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation have proudly donated over $440,000 to causes specifically focused on the Environment.

Applications for funding from the WBFEF will be open until August 1st, 2020.  We have opened up our application deadline this year in order to be more flexible in the uncertain times surrounding the COVID-19 response.  We hope that we will be able to support valuable environmental projects in the Sea to Sky Corridor being considered for summer or fall 2020.  We will get back to you as quickly as possible upon receiving you application to accommodate the timeline of your project planning.
